Tools
You will need the following;
- Small/Medium Phillips head screwdriver.
- Needle nose pliers
- Project Card - Supplied by KAS
- This card will unlock/test any lock that has not been programmed or configured.
If you are using a drill ensure it is on a low torque setting.

After Installation Checklist
Manually test the features of the lock before closing it
1. Check the mechanical works, and unlocks the lock
Insert the key, while holding the key, press up and turn the front handle. The latch should retract.
If the latch is not retracting
- The installation may be incorrect, refer to the video
- The Key is incorrect
2. Check the internal handle retracts the latch.
The internal handle should always retract the latch at all times. Check your installation if the latch is not retracting.
3. Test Electronics
Ensure there are batteries in the lock
When swiping a the project card, the motor can be heard
Turning the handle should retract the latch when the project card is presented
