Neo Cloud Lock - Error 'keypad light not coming up'

If your NEO locks keypad not lighting up, it could be because of 2 following reasons.

1) your NEO lock battery is completely dead, please try changing the batteries of your lock and try again. If you are locked out and unable to access the room from the inside, you can either open the lock by using a "Mechanical Override Key" provided with each KAS lock or use an "Android Cable" with either a power bank or a 5V DC power adapter to temporary turn on the keypad, then use your existing pin code to enter the room.

      a) Mechanical Key Override 

      Flick the black cap covering the mechanical barrel on the front handle open 

The key cover is attached to the handle. Do not snap the black cap off. 
  1. Insert the mechanical key. Turn it 90 degrees. This will retract the door latch.
  2. If the mechanical key does not turn, it is the wrong key.
  3. Try turning the key and handle at the same time to avoid breaking the mechanical key inside the cylinder.

 

                     


Keep the mechanical back up keys in a safe and secure location in case of an emergency 

      b) Android USB Cable

      Use a normal android cable and plug it in on the bottom of the usb cable slot, you can either use a 5V DC power adapter or a power bank to power the lock temporarily.

      


2) Someone has tried wrong pin code more than five times on the keypad to enter the room,  in that case as a security precaution the NEO lock's keypad will be inactive and won't light up for 1 minute. In that case wait for 1 minute and your NEO lock keypad will be turned on again, now you can again use your correct pin code to enter the room or else if you have forgotten your pin code please use your management code to enter a new pin code, by default the user management code is "888 888".
