KASAccess - Lock & Gateway Activation

Account Registration

Please Note:
On boarding of your account registration is completed via our KAS Support team. Please call or use the credentials already provided to login to the KASAccess mobile app.

Download and Install the KASAccess App using QR code below.


Lock & Gateway Activation

Initialise a New Lock

Press * * 888 888 #  on the Keypad to initialise the lock waiting for activation
NOTE: If migrating Locks & Gateways from KAS Cloud Console, please follow the steps below to reset your locks & Gateway back to factory settings. Otherwise skip and and go to next step - Activate Locks & Gateways

Reset Lock Back to Factory Settings

Should you for any reason wish to reset your lock back to factory defaults then you would press:

* * 888 888 # 199 # to reset, followed by;
* * 888 888 # to again initialise the lock ready for activation

Reset Gateway Back to Factory Settings

Should you for any reason wish to reset your Gateway back to factory defaults then you would press:
Long press the button (12 seconds) on the side of the gateway.       

Activate Locks & Gateways

Now Login to the KASAccess mobile app using your credentials to start Activating Locks (i.e. for Rooms, Common Doors and Lift controllers) & Gateways

Tap 'Setup'
Tap 'Scan'.

Confirm the factory serial number ('SS' for Locks & 'GWS' for Gateways) you are Activating

Tap 'Activate as Lock/ACR' for Rooms or Common doors;
Tap 'Activate as Lift', If you are activating an ACR as a Lift Controller

After successfully Activating your Lock/ACR, Lift or Gateway you will see the Activated successful message. 

Tap 'OK'

Note: After the Activation from KASAccess mobile app, your device will automatically migrate to your KASAccess Console account

Tap on the Locks, Lifts or Gateways tab at the bottom of the app to see all your activated devices. From these sections you can manage your devices.

Rename Activated Locks & Gateways

To rename a device tap on section for Locks, Lifts or Gateways

Tap on on the device you wish to rename and tap 'Edit Name', type your descriptive name.
