Note: Bluetooth functionality with Lock-S has been deprecated. While this may still work, we cannot guarantee it. 

1.       Install SQL Server on the computer.

Download SQL2012:  https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=29062

For WINXP, WIN7 etc. 32 bits choose: SQL Server Express ADV-X86

For WIN7, WIN8 etc. 64 bits choose: SQL Server Express ADV-X64

2.       Install KAS Lock-S System  This is hotel locking software.

After installation, there will be a serial number required. Please send us the application ID we will register the serial number for you.

The default account name is: admin

Default Password is: 123;

2.1  After that start setting up floor and room information.

2.2  Issue 1 system card. The software only has 1 system card so please take care of the system card. The system card needs to swipe on all rooms.

2.3  Issue parameter card for each room. The parameter card is to give the room address and time. So each room needs a parameter card. Please label each parameter card in order not to mix when you swipe on the door locks. Note: It is better that you check out all parameter card after you set up all the rooms. After checking out the parameter card can be reissued as guest card or any card.

3.       After setting up room information. Click “System” -àLicense (see the following picture)

Get to the following dialogue:

Click input, turns in to the following dialogue:

Then send us the application ID and inform to us that you will need to get the TCP/IP no. We will register the no. for you. Then input into the blanks.

4.       Install lock iPMS v9.7 Server. Then open it to run.

PRIOR RULE: While you use the software this iPMS server must be running.

5.       Download Manager APP for the hotel locking software.

5.1 Open the hotel locking software. Click” System--System Parameters”-APP. Get to the following dialogue:

The default APP account name is: lock-257-1. Use the default app account on your software initially.

The password is blank. You need to set the password for your system. Click reset password and input the password on the blank. Click Register Account. The password is set successfully.

Note: The account and password is for the account for mobile manager APP.

5.2.   Download the manager APP on your Android Phone.

For lock setup the Bluetooth manager APP can only be on Android OS.

Note: The Bluetooth manager APP will NOT open the door.

5.3 Use APP account and password to enter into the manager APP. See following dialogue:

6.       Set the lock information on manager APP.

6.1 Enter into the manager app, then press "setup"- -The mobile can find out the bluetooth lock ID (i.e UL003212),- Select it - then you can see it in your lock list - select it you can set the room number. Please note the room number needs to be same as the room no. on the software.

   6.2 Swipe the system card-parameter card to the lock.

7.       Send the Bluetooth key to guest`s mobile.

On the software choose the room no. Right click the mouse. Choose “Send Phone”. Seen following dialogue:

Choose the right international code. Input guest`s mobile number, name and staying time. Click “Download” and it will show sending successfully.

8.       The guest use mobile to open the door lock.

The guest will receive a SMS which sends the link to download APP and a code to sign in the APP. Guest needs to download the using APP and use the code sign in.

After sign in the room information and guest staying information will shown. Click the key button the lock can be opened. Max. distance is: 15 meters.
