Lock-S - Resetting your lock with a System Card

NotesIf you are instructed to complete a 'Factory Reset'. Please conduct the following steps:

By System Card

  1. Locate the original System Card used to initially program the door. Note: you cannot use the PDA.
  2. Ensure the System Card has the "Clear Function" by placing it onto a card reader, and clicking "Read" in the Lock-S Software
    1. If the "Clear Function" is not enabled, tick the box and select "Modify"
  3. Hold the System Card to the door until a rising tone is heard. This resets the door.
  4. Tap the System Card to the door once more until a single tone is heard. This programs the door to the System Card.
  5. The lock is now factory reset. Previous cards will still be able to work.

By Reset Switch

  1. Remove the unit from from the wall / door.
  2. If it is a door lock:
    1. Unscrew the back panel on the outwards facing side
    2. Hold the small button located in the middle of the board
      1. If the lock is a NEO Lock, the button will be located on the top of the main board, not the smaller board
  3. If it is an ACR:
    1. Unscrew the small screw at the bottom of the unit
    2. Hold the small black button in the top of the unit
  4. Tap your System Card to the unit in order to program it back to your System Card

Result

  • The lock is now factory reset, all cards/pin codes will now be invalid unless the same System Card is used.
  • All data will be cleared from the device
  • In order to get the lock working, you will need to reprogram the door
  • If you are using Bluetooth, you will need to re-active the Lock using the Lock Keeper App and set the room number again. Go to the 'Setup' tab in the Lock Keeper App.
