Lock-S Software - Error "Fail to open serial Port"

If this image is displayed, this means the encoder (card write cannot be found by your computer)

Please check the following:

  1. Check the cable connection from the encoder to the computer
  2. Close and reopen Lock-S software
  3. Try to issue a card

If this does not rectify the problem, please check the following setting:

 

  1. Go to System > System Parameter
    • Admin Login may be required if you do not have access to select the item
    •  
  2. Check Encoder Type: MR-11U
  3. Check Encoder Port: USB
  4. Click OK
  5. Try to issue a card
