Programming Guide

Notes:

  • To wake the etouch series lock you need to tap (wake up) the LED display with the palm of your hand.
  • *[MANAGEMENT PIN CODE]* If you are using the factory default, this would be *123123*              

Program User Pin Code

  1. Wake the keypad and enter:   [MANAGEMENT PIN CODE]  *
  2. Press: 1 *
  3. Enter: < NEW PIN CODE> *
For e.g,       * 123123 * 1 * 4567 *
  • During the key sequence, a RED light and a long beep will sound.  This indicates that the programming is successful.
  • You may enter up to 8 pin codes and they can be between 3 and 6 digits.
  • To test the pin code: Wake the keypad and enter <PIN CODE> *  a BLUE or GREEN light will show if successful.  If a RED light followed by a few short beeps happens, try to program the pin code again.

Clear ALL User Pin Codes

  1. Wake the keypad and enter:   [MANAGEMENT PIN CODE]  *
  2. Press: 2 *
  • During the key sequence, a RED light and a long beep will sound.  This indicates that the programming is successful.
  • You may now enter up to 8 new pin codes and they can be between 3 and 6 digits.

Program Key Card or FOB

Label the Key Cards or FOB’s the sequence number 001 ~ nnn.  This number should be recorded and is used whenever you want to replace a card or FOB.

  1. Wake the keypad and enter:   [MANAGEMENT PIN CODE]  *
  2. Press: 3 *
  • Swipe a Key Card or FOB over the screen (2 short beeps will sound)
  • Swipe the next card or FOB or press  #  to exit.

Replace a Key Card or FOB

*You must know the serial number that you recorded when the card or FOB was made.  To replace a fob with the serial number 005:

  1. Wake the keypad and enter:   [MANAGEMENT PIN CODE]  *
  2. Press: 4 *
  3. Enter 3 digit record number: eg 0 0 5 *
  4. Swipe a new Key Card or FOB over the screen (a long beep will sound)

Delete ALL Key Cards or FOBS

  1. Wake the keypad and enter:   [MANAGEMENT PIN CODE]  *
  2. Press: 5*
  • During the key sequence, a RED light and a long beep will sound.  This indicates that the programming is successful.
  • To delete a single Key Card or FOB you must replace the card/FOB with a new one (see Replace a Key Card or FOB)

Program Remote Controller

  1. Wake the keypad and enter:   [MANAGEMENT PIN CODE]  *
  2. Press: 6* *a BLUE or GREEN emits if you have the remote control model
  3. Press the button once on the remote controller.
  • You may have up to 8 remote controllers.

Delete ALL Remote Controllers

  1. Wake the keypad and enter:   [MANAGEMENT PIN CODE]  *
  2. Press: 7* *a BLUE or GREEN emits if you have the remote control model
  • During the key sequence, a RED light and a long beep will sound.  This indicates that the programming is successful.

Passage Mode Function

Passage mode will leave the door in an “unlocked” state until the mode is deactivated.  Passage mode allows access through the door without the need for a pin code, key card, FOB or remote.

  1. Wake the keypad and enter:   [MANAGEMENT PIN CODE]  *
  2. Press: 8*
  3. repeat steps to revert function

Program Management Pin Code

This is the highest authority and has the ability to open the lock and change/remove any other pin code, card, FOB or remote.   It can only be altered by completing the FACTORY RESET or Program Management Pin Code.

  1. Wake the keypad and enter:   [MANAGEMENT PIN CODE]  *
  2. Press: 0*
  3. Enter: <6 digit code> *

Factory Reset

The lock will be in factory reset with the management pin code default of ‘123123’.  All programmed data will be deleted.

  1. Open the battery cover on the inside of the door.
  2. Hold the default switch in the back plate for 3 seconds.
  3. LED will illuminate and a ‘beep…’  a sound will be heard
