Connecting to the SQL Server from the different computer


Before connecting  make sure your local computer (where lock-S software is installed) and your Server computer (where your SQL database is installed) are both on the same network.

Step # 1: Double click on the lock-s software and you will see the following screen.



Step # 2: Enter the IP address of your server computer followed by back slash and your instance name, by default the instance name should be "KASDB" and click next



Step # 3: Now Enter the details which you set up when you were installing the SQL server. by default it should be username: "SA" & Password: 'kas123' and click next



Step # 4: Now it will ask you to enter your licence number. please enter your licence number and press next.



If you don't have your licence number, please contact KAS and they will provide you your licence number.
Step # 5: After Entering your correct licence number click next and you should be able to see the following screen.
by default the software credentials are as follows.

username: admin
password: 123
